Purpose:

Designed for early planning and rapid acceleration, the Race board is the ideal choice for those seeking to elevate their racing performance or simply enjoy a more thrilling ride. This board is all about maximizing your time on the water with a design that enhances speed and agility.

The elongated, flat bottom profile with a slight V into a flat tail section, provides more surface area for planning, ensuring a smooth and controlled lift-off while maintaining the nose above water. Despite its length, the board’s narrow width ensures it remains light and responsive, perfect for precise maneuvers and speed.

Available in Deep tuttle or tracks.

  • Design:

    • Deck: A recessed deck lined with a high-density EVA pad, engineered for unmatched comfort and secure grip.

    • Bottom: Featuring a double concave bottom with precision bevels, this design ensures seamless touchdowns and smooth, effortless takeoffs.

    • Nose: The high-volume V-nose is crafted to keep the nose elevated, providing a soft, cushioned experience on every touchdown.

    • Tail: A cut-away tail design promotes clean water release and offers a compact shape for sharp turns and stable landings.

Construction:

Each board is expertly handcrafted in-house, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and responsible practices. While not entirely green, we make a conscious effort to source local products and recycle materials wherever possible, reducing waste and supporting our local economy.

  • Epoxy Resin: Our choice of resin is not only stronger but also more environmentally friendly with reduced VOC levels, made in NZ.

  • HD EPS Core: Precision-engineered in NZ, providing a lightweight yet durable foundation.

  • HD PVC Deck: Locally cut in NZ, ensuring consistency and quality in every board.

  • Carbon/Fiberglass: Sourced internationally to deliver the highest strength-to-weight ratio.

  • Durepox Primer: NZ-made for excellent bonding and a flawless finish.

  • Altex Paint: High-quality, locally-produced paint for long-lasting, vibrant colors.

  • EVA Pad: Custom-cut in NZ, designed to enhance comfort and grip.
